Graduate Rewilding Internship Programme 2022-2023

Are you passionate about Rewilding our planet? Are you looking a career in science led technology-driven nature recovery?

About us

Ecosulis takes a pragmatic, technology and science-based approach to projects and applies rewilding principles to deliver high quality results. We are working at the cutting edge of finance technology, to make rewilding commercially viable, accelerating the vision of a recoverable earth. Our innovation team has developed a new analytical framework to measure ecosystem uplift, enabling nature recovery projects to connect with emerging investment and revenue-generating opportunities.

About the programme

Our graduate internship programme is entering its third year and is designed to help “kickstart” the nature recovery sector and identify future employees for Ecosulis. We are looking for applicants who have graduated between 2020 and 2022 and are energised by our vision.  Our paid internship programme offers an opportunity to learn professional and technical skills, working as part of a fast-paced team, developing, and delivering new rewilding products and services.

As a recent graduate you do not need prior work experience. We are looking for people with a proactive and pragmatic attitude, who are willing to question current ways of doing things, like devising novel solutions, working as a team and who are comfortable with a bit of uncertainty.

Successful applicants will broaden their current skillsets and be creative problem solvers with the ability to contribute to our innovation work. We expect applicants to take a proactive approach to this role, embracing and carving out opportunities and supporting the team.

Through the internship you will develop your professional, technical, and commercial skills. Our hope is that the internship will help you on your way to a career in the new and emerging nature recovery sector.

What will you require?

Rewilding is an innovative, rapidly evolving sector, so we would be delighted to hear from anyone who thinks their skills, qualifications and aptitudes are a good fit for the role. However, we are keen to hear from candidates with qualifications or skills in the following areas:

  • Finance
  • Rural Enterprise
  • Data Science
  • Quantitative Ecology
  • Computer Science and Communications

An ability to learn quickly and respond to changing priorities is essential as we work within a constantly evolving and fast paced field.

We offer a salary of £21,000 pa along with structured programme of mentoring and learning in rewilding science, policy and practice or other topics that are relevant to your internship role.

A full driving licence is desirable
